SKÓGARNEF (FORREST POINT) NORÐURÁ II

This is a small and cosy lodge just north of Hvammur farm and named after a close by fishinghole. The lodge has three bedrooms and a sleeping loft, kitchen open to living and dining-area. Anglers who fish Norðurá II (The mountain) use this lodge. Anglers who reside here take care of themselves and bring their own food. Upon an arrival the house is clean, the beds are made and clean towels laid out.

SELFCATERING

The house has a small kitchen open to dining and sitting areas. Fridge, microwave and table-top stove, along with all the necessary utensils pots and pans, plates, glasses, cutlery etc. Toaster, kettle and coffee-maker.

FACILITIES

The bedrooms have bunk-beds, a chair and closet. The shared bathroom has a shower.

Living area has two long leather sofas and a sofa-table. Pine dining suit for 6. Single leather chair to use with either.

There are facilities outside to clean your catch, a freezer in the storage unit, a gas-grill, a bench, table and chairs for sitting out on the porch. The lodge stands on the slopes of a woodland hill, just off Highway no. 1 and keys are in a key box by the entrance.
